Well... That's Interesting

The Secret History of Hollywood

A weekly comedy sciencey show for people who like learning about weird sh*t. Like, can hair grow between your teeth? And could we ever lose our Moon? (Sadly, yes to both.) WTI tells the story behind the facts and, turns out, those stories are funny.

Join Jill ChaCha (2 degrees, 3 jobs) on a deep dive into bizarre and fascinating topics, with the occasional guest coming in cold and learning everything in real time just like you.

Jill ChaCha

Jill's (she/they) background is as colorful as WTI's episode topics. In the early to mid 2000's she was considered New York City's leading subway artist, using hundreds of stations, train cars and advertisements to shine a light on our contemporary political climate and the startling evolution of warfare over the last century.

Her work has been featured in numerous street art documentaries ("Wild in the Streets," Dega Films), television series (Canal+, PBS) and international culture magazines—from AnimalNY, BuzzFeed, Hyperallergic, HUCK and BUST; Time Out New York has declared her work to be one of the best underground (issue 843), as did amNewYork (4/9/18). During the Covid-19 pandemic, her work was celebrated in New Yorker Magazine (2/1/21).

Her artistic process is documented in multiple major book publications, including "Outdoor Gallery: New York City," "2Create" (both by Yoav Litvin) and "Women Street Artists: The Complete Guide" (Xavier Tapies, Graffito Press).

She's a damn good writer too, endlessly curious with a sharp sense of humor. Jill pivoted to podcasting in 2020, creating Well... That's Interesting. In 3 short years, WTI became recognized as one of the best Science podcasts out there (podcastreview.org/list/best-science-podcasts/).
